A | Brussels, Oct 18 (UNI) The Council of the European Union (EU) issued sanctions against 11 individuals and four entities in Iran over their role in the death of Mahsa Amini.

The death of the 22-year-old Iranian woman made international headlines this month and triggered social unrest and fierce protests across Iran, killing scores of people.

EU sanctions were issued against those believed to be responsible for Amini's death: Iran's Morality Police and two of its key figures, Mohammad Rostami and Hajahmad Mirzaei.

The EU on Monday has designated the Iranian Law Enforcement Forces (LEF) and a number of its local chiefs, and listed Issa Zarepour, Iran's minister of information and communications technology.

Measures consist of a travel ban and an asset freeze. In addition, EU citizens and companies are forbidden from making funds available to the listed individuals and entities.

The list now comprises 97 individuals and eight entities, the Council of the EU said in a statement following a meeting of the member states' foreign affairs ministers.

据新加坡总理公署4月15日公布的消息，李显龙将于5月15日卸任，副总理兼财政部长黄循财将于同一天在总统府宣誓就职新总理。

黄循财此前也表示，李显龙在5月15日卸任之后，将留在内阁担任国务资政。

现年72岁的李显龙于20世纪80年代步入政坛，曾担任新加坡国防部第二部长、贸易与工业部长、副总理兼财政部长等职。2004年8月就任新加坡总理，连任至今。

据央视援引新加坡《联合早报》5月10日报道，新加坡总理李显龙9日主持了他任内最后一次内阁会议。从下周起，接任总理的黄循财将主持内阁会议，届时李显龙将以国务资政的身份继续工作。

据报道，72岁的李显龙将于15日正式交棒给51岁的副总理兼财政部长黄循财，黄循财也是首位在新加坡建国后出生的总理。

李显龙当天在会上感谢内阁同事坚定的支持，也对过去20年能领导内阁团队表示荣幸。

新加坡于1965年8月脱离马来西亚，成立新加坡共和国。

新加坡前三任总理祖籍均是中国。

F | 第一任总理李光耀和自2004年开始担任第三任总理的李显龙祖籍是广东省梅州市大埔县，第二任总理吴作栋祖籍为福建永春县。即将成为新加坡第四任总理的黄循财祖籍是海南。

与新加坡前三任总理相同的另一点是，黄循财也是新加坡精英中的精英，是学者型政治家。他的从政履历与吴作栋、李显龙没有多大差别，都有过参加国会选举、进入政府部门、进入核心权力机构人民行动党中央执行委员会这个过程。黄循财还曾在2005年至2008年担任过李显龙的首席私人秘书。
